A famous doctor who practiced euthanasia

Jack Kevorkian was a U.S-based physician who assisted in patient suicides. He was born in 1928, May 26 son of refugees who escaped the American Massacres that occurred shortly after World War 1. As his father owned his own excavating company, he always had a comfortable life without financial problems. He says there was always enough to eat. Although his parents were religious he never really believed in God. His grades at school was always great and he sometimes humiliated teachers when they couldn't  keep up with his sharp debate skills. Being such a intelligent kid, Kevorkian had trouble making friends. Accepted into the College of Engineering, he aimed to become a civil engineer. However he became bored soon and focused on botany and biology. By midyear, he had set his sights on medical school. A Belgian Woman Decided To Be Euthanized

    Emily, a 24 year old woman who lives in Belgium, has been suffering from a serious mental disorder since she was only three years old. She didn't know why she existed, and thought "I don't wanna be here." When she was thirteen, she started thinking about suicide, and hurt herself over and over. She couldn't find a reason to live. So she decided to be euthanized in Belgium, in which death with dignity is legal for people who suffer from "an incurable or terminal illness".      After going through so many times of counseling, she was approved to be euthanized. It was because she injured herself so many times and she was truly despairing about living her life. Doctors told her that she could cancel it whenever if she wants, and the last day of her life came.      In the end, she chose not to die. She says "I couldn't. I have to fight with myself again."      Even though she decided not to die, her case shows that living is hars...

Woman lives life before die by brain cancer

Britanny Maynard was 29 when she found out she was going to die within six months by a tumor in her brain. She had the alternative to prolong her life through full radiation treatment but that would be painful and her family would watch her suffer. This was not the way she wanted to go. She decided to move from California to Oregon where assisted suicide was legal with her husband who had been married to her for a year.She was already experiencing tremendous headaches, seizures, and memory loss. despite of the pain, she checked all her items off her bucket list including visiting Alaska and Grand Canyon. After seven months of her diagnoses, she died surrounded by her loved ones in Portland. A Japanese Man Changed His Mind After His Survival

     Masatoshi Oda was diagnosed with progressive muscular dystrophy as a child. He didn’t like the idea of being hooked up to a ventilator, and said that if he ever found himself in such a situation, he would prefer to accept death and leave this world in peace. He was not suicidal, but he didn't want burden his family with his failing health.       In 1997,Doctors told Oda’s family that he would die unless oxygen was artificially pumped into his body.  He was just 29 years old.His mother knew his wish, but she wanted to do anything she can do to save her son, so he was kept alive.      When he regained consciousness, it took a while for him to accept that he had been hooked up to a ventilator.      Now, however, the 45-year-old is relieved the doctors performed the tracheotomy and kept him alive.      And although he does have to rely on people to compl...

Euthanasia originally means to end a life intentionally in order to relieve pain and suffering.
