Britanny Maynard was 29 when she found out she was going to die within six months by a tumor in her brain. She had the alternative to prolong her life through full radiation treatment but that would be painful and her family would watch her suffer. This was not the way she wanted to go.
She decided to move from California to Oregon where assisted suicide was legal with her husband who had been married to her for a year. She was already experiencing tremendous headaches, seizures, and memory loss. despite of the pain, she checked all her items off her bucket list including visiting Alaska and Grand Canyon. After seven months of her diagnoses, she died surrounded by her loved ones in Portland.

I think euthanasia is a big controversial issue! I understand that there can be many kinds of reason why people woud want to die, but its not easy to decide. It might be easy for others to say that you should never give up living, but for people who are seriously ill, they might feel pain each seconds they are living. Euthanasia might be a way to let the person be free from pain about I am sure there are people around them that will feel sad. I think Euthanasia can be a way to release one people from pain but it is a sad way to say good bye.
